Abbey Motorcycle Instructors is a Driving Standards Agency (DSA) Approved Training Body for Compulsory Basic Training (CBT) and Practical Test courses in Abingdon, Oxfordshire; Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire and Newbury, Berkshire. We provide quality motorcycle training and coaching from CBT to Practical Test level and further training to advanced level. All our professional, friendly and patient instructors are minimum DSA qualified and advanced riders from a variety of motorcycling backgrounds.We aim to provide our customers with a comprehensive resource on almost every aspect of motorcycles and motorcycling.

At our main office, near Abingdon, we have a large off road training area suitable for Compulsory Basic Training and simulating the Module 1 Practical Test.

For all road training we use Autocom radios to ensure constant contact between instructors and pupils.

We offer a range of courses to suit customer needs; if you are unsure about which course is suitable for you you can take advantage of our free 1 hour assessments. We aim to ensure that your training and coaching is both educational and enjoyable.Our emphasis is on both practical ability and relevance. We ensure that you will spend the majority of your training on the road, not in the classroom. We will teach you to ride, not just to pass the test, by giving you as much experience of differing road and traffic situations. This will help build pupil’s confidence and ability, which is reflected in our high first time pass rate.
